2010 Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept Car

As a way of celebrating the company’s 75th anniversary, Jaguar has created this special edition; the Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept, which will be on display at Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance Concept Car Lawn this upcoming weekend.
The car is colour coded in the very clean and modern scheme of black and pearlescent white, comprising of a glass roof set upon a black backdrop. Also adding to the ‘platinum’ experience is the addition of dark chrome inserts and trimming throughout the exterior and interior.

Powered by the same 350kW supercharged V8 as the 2011 Jaguar XJL, this XJ75 Platinum Concept is sure to impress at the hotel foyer and out on the highway.

The interior of the new concept features ‘diamond stitched’ suede inserts in the seats and throughout the Jet Softgrain leather. Inside, there’s also a Bremont Watch Company clock especially made for the XJ75 Platinum Concept.

Managing Director of Jaguar Cars, Mike O’Driscoll said in a recent report,
“The XJ is thoroughly modern, and captures the innovative and daring character that our founder Sir William Lyons built into every Jaguar. And the design team clearly had some fun making their first one-of-a-kind XJ design concept in that spirit.”

We must say, it is quite a striking car with its solid shadow chrome 22 inch wheels. The 20-speaker, 1,200-watt, Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system inside is also an enticing and seductive element.

The car is just a concept at this stage, and no word of production has been spread.
