A Michigan based tuning and performance Parts Company, Classic Design Concepts (CDC) has come up with a 50-unit ‘Signature Series’ limited edition car, dubbed the FireBreather. The concept was unveiled at the Detroit AutoRama earlier this year, and is based on the new Chevrolet Camaro SS. This car was originally designed for the supernatural thriller called Jinn, which is written and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad. The film is to be released next year.
The Firebreather differs considerably from the Chevrolet Camaro and is designed and engineered as a new sports car made to match the Hollywood style and American love for Muscles. The movie car features completely redone body with new front and rear fascias, raised shaker hood, grill and graphics, special access to movie events and autographed memorabilia. Other exterior changes include an Eibach Pro-Plus Performance Handling Package, new wheels and Pirelli tires.
Car has also been given Firebird touch while replacing ‘Camaro’ branded center section of the steering wheel with Firebreather Logo, and there are also gloss black trim and embroidered floor mats. Not only is this, but the Firebreather has also got some performance upgrades with Edelbrock supercharger system and a cold air intake power that takes the total tally of mules to 599, which is 173hp more than Chevrolet Camaro.
Well, the eye catching design and impressive power figures will surely make this car popular, irrespective of movie becoming a hit or not. And, all you need to shell out to posses this iconic Firebreather is $60,000.
