German Car tuning company, Mansory was earlier reported to come to the Paris motor show with two cars. Even when the motor show is far away, the tuner has unveiled one of them: Maserati GranTurismo. Mansory has developed a tuning package for the exterior, interior as well as engine.
The engine power has been boosted with the performance-optimized ECU, an air filter with increased air throughput and a sports exhaust system with two double-suction tail pipes that enhance the performance of V8 and adds 30hp and 40 NM of torque extra. This package can be applied to both GT and GTS models. Meaning, GranTurismo will develop 405hp and 460 Nm of torque while the GranTurismo S will generate 440 hp and 490 Nm of torque with this package.
The modifications for the exterior include a newly designed front spoiler with discreet spoiler lip, a carbon fiber radiator grille, additional air inlets and outlets, drawn-down deep door-sills carbon fiber spoiler lip at the back, the carbon inlay for the integrated exhaust pipes in the rear apron and a diffuser complete the new look.
Also, the tuner added the progressive sports suspension in the front and rear axles that lower down the vehicle’s center of gravity, and new set of wheels wrapped in 255/30 R 20 tires upfront and 305/30 R 21 tires at the back. The updates in the interior can be found with high quality leather, aluminum pedals and new ergonomically designed sporty steering wheel.
